If you want to see the variable tags, trend tags, alarm or configuration parameters of one piece of equipment you have to apply an equipment filter for every type. If you could select an equipment filter in the top right of the Plant SCADA Studio and apply this equipment filter automatically to for instance the Topology -> Variable Tags and all other tables.
If possible, add the equipment tree into the Plant SCADA Studio and generate an overview of one piece of equipment showing all associated variable tags, trend tags etc. For instance, if you define multiple select statements in an SQL client it shows these results in one view in several small tables.

Idea business value
This would make life easier for an engineer, this saves time, especially when debugging. It becomes easier to see where there is a configuration error or parameter missing. In runtime it's possible to generate an overview of te variable tags, trend tags and alarm from a piece of equipment using the browsing functions. Get this overview in configuration environment is mandatory. |
