In my opinion, there should be a separate event server, like trend ,alarm, io.
It would make script handling much easier

The current operation of the events sometimes surprises, can get stuck or perform an events with a delay. If I want to call a function with a specific time 12:00:00 with the use of an event, the function can be caused by a delay of several seconds, for example 12:00:04. next time 12:00:01 and another time 12:00:02.
Also, making a bit of life is hard, because these times can go down every interval.
This does not change in any newer version of Citect.
