Whe have our own Excel macro's for generating tags, alarm, trends, etc and would like to use the 64bit version of Excel. We want to open a DBF using the Excel Addin, run our own macro and then save the DBF file using vba.
Idea business value
We used to have the macros in the save_dbf.xls, but can't use them anymore, because we have a newer version of Excel. |

Idea priority | 3 – Some use to my company |
Yes please. We use tools developed in C# to filter and adapt tags, alarms and trends.
Previously we used the FoxPro VPFOLEDB.DLL to access the DBFs, but Windows 11 does not accept these 32-bits driver anymore and there are no alternatives available without significant extra cost and/or time.
These tools are crucial to our company, so for us priority is high.
